Fairtrade Fortnight - Strictly Tea Dances

Tea dances with a difference - from
ballroom to salsa, ballet to Bollywood and street dance to line
dancing - are taking over the country during Fairtrade
Fortnight.
Each and every event will play its part in getting Britain to swap
its cuppa, as part of THE BIG SWAP.

Newcastle
Strictly Fairtrade Tea Dance

From Zumba to Ballroom, Capoeira to Hip Hop - put on your dancing
shoes then enjoy a Fairtrade cuppa. You’ll be joining others
all over the UK to prove that Britain wants a better deal for
Fairtrade tea producers. Bring along your non-Fairtrade tea and
swap for Traidcraft’s Fairtrade tea bags.
Birmingham
Strictly Fairtrade Tea Dance

Strictly Fairtrade Tea Dance - put on your dancing shoes and join
others all over the UK. Strictly Fair and Ethical Market - check
out food, clothes and crafts produced from all over the world.
Strictly live music - live music and entertainment all day from
local bands standing in solidarity with the Fairtrade
movement.

Come along and take part in dance demos, or watch performances from
talented dancers representing Dundee’s dance culture with a cup of
Fairtrade tea to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight. A packed programme
includes salsa, modern dance, Scottish country dance, tap dance and
contemporary, all washed down with plenty of Fairtrade tea, soup
and a roll lunch.
