We recognise that many of our processes, products and services have the potential to affect the surroundings in which we operate.

It is our policy to manage these activities in a responsible manner.

To this end, Autobar Group will:

Bullet Point Comply with, or exceed all relevant environmental regulations in each of the countries in which we operate

Bullet Point Minimise the consumption of energy and take all practical steps to reduce waste

Bullet Point Work with our customers and suppliers to develop, produce and sell products which have a reduced environmental impact

Bullet Point Ensure our suppliers are environmentally compliant in their field

Bullet Point Encourage recycling within our business

Bullet Point Ensure all our operations are committed to the spirit of this policy

Autobar's environmental policy is supported by a range of accreditations and certifications including ISO 14001 : 2004,
ISO 9001 : 2000, Organic and Fairtrade certifications across its trading companies.

In 1990, Autobar Group was the joint founder of the "Save a Cup" vending cup recycling scheme in the UK. In addition, Autobar also develops products that help the environment such as aluminium free packaging for vending ingredients.

Other quality schemes and accreditations held in the group include VCA (Holland), Qualicert (France), NSF (water in Finland) and British Retail Consortium.
