Bunzl Vending Services – Charitable Support
Bunzl Vending Services actively support a number of charities, based both in the UK and overseas. In the UK our activities are predominately focused on London.
Together with our suppliers, we have selected two main overseas charities:
The Saltmine Trust is a Christian Charity responsible for a number of major projects around the world. We have chosen to be involved in their Bulgarian and African activities. In 2006, we were delighted to be able to support a major project at the Dragonnavo Orphanage based near Sophia, in Bulgaria. We helped to install hot water and heating for the 110 children who lived there. In Pamparovo, Bulgaria, we supported one of the Saltmine Trusts cancer hospices with funds.
In November 2005 we sent ` delegation to the ‘Lily of the Valley’ AIDS Hospice for Children near Durban, South Africa. In three months, we installed IT systems to enable the hospice to communicate with the outside world.
